I’ve had a couple of people ask me about plans for this site and my other writing:
As of January 2011, I have completed almost all of the major pages I had in mind. (There’s 107 on the site now). I anticipate I’ll continue to add pages (and I have a few more in the Questions section I’ll start with), but much of the bulk of what I wanted is up now.
Each page has a ‘last edited’ note at the bottom once it’s finished and tagged.
But tell me your thoughts! You can reach me through the contact form here, or through comments on either my general religious blog or my books blog. (If you leave me a comment and include your email address, I’ll see it but other people can’t, so you can leave a message saying “Can you email? Got a more private question.” if you like.)
Where to find more of my writing:
I also blog at:
- My general religious blog: Limen: Thoughts from a Threshold which focuses on more complex aspects of Pagan life – group work, teaching and training, intersection of different issues, etc.
- My books blog: Liminal Words
I keep a running journal of personal and daily-life sorts of stuff at http://jenett.dreamwidth.org , cross-posted to http://jenett.livejournal.com . Most of these posts are locked (which means you’ll need an account on one or both services to read them). If you contact me with an email address, I have Dreamwidth invite codes available. There is also religious content, but it’s mixed in with a whole bunch of other topics.
I am generally fine with adding people to reading access in both places (just let me know you found me through here), but posts are access-locked as many of them deal with details of health, job search, and other specifics that I figure don’t need to be in the public Web.
Forums: I’m most reliably active at the eCauldron forum, where I’ve been for about 10 years in various incarnations of their site. It’s a debate and discussion focused Pagan forum with a wide variety of paths represented (and Wicca and religious witchcraft folks are actually somewhat in the minority.) If you are trying to pick just one Pagan forum to participate in, they’re my general recommendation. (That said, the style definitely doesn’t suit everyone.)
I have articles published in the Llewellyn Witches’ Companion almanacs:
- My article in the 2010 edition was on music and personal practice.
- The 2011 article was on online spaces and Pagan community
- And the 2012 article (which will be available around August 2011) is on creating meaningful personal practice when health or time or other commitments limit your options.
And I’m working on a book:
Slowly, but surely – it’s about how to seek, find, and use information in Pagan practice that comes from a variety of sources. A few related articles may appear here, and I’m also looking at what might make a good article for publications. I’ll post on Limen if there’s any news on that front.
My next plans:
- Work on getting notes on books into the Liminal Books blog.
- Resume blogging more regularly at Limen: Thoughts from a Threshold (notes on what I’ll cover over here.)
- Working on creating a set of online bookmarks (via one of the social bookmarking tools) to complement these pages and other topics.
