A quick note

It’s been quiet here – and it’s going to continue for a little bit. Earlier this month, I accepted an awesome new job that will be taking me from Minnesota to Maine, and I’ll be moving over the weekend of July 30th.

I have lots of things I want to say about preparing for a move, and about finding and connecting with new Pagan resources in a new area, but I keep not managing to write any of them down yet. Hence, this note to say why – and that I’ll be picking up with writing as I get a little bit more time/focus back.

If there’s stuff you’d particularly love me to talk about, feel free to comment, and as always, that’s often a good way to inspire me to write something in specific relatively quickly. (No promises, but your chances are good.)

  • I’m so excited that you have a happy new opportunity for you!  And selfishly, I am sad, as the local Pagan and SF communities won’t be the same without you.  You will be missed.  Many bright blessings on your new chapter of life!

      Sherry –

I’ll miss things here too! I’m going to be continuing to help long distance with Paganicon, and expect to be back for both that and Fourth Street next year.

I am (selfishly) excited as this brings you closer to my home- not a lot closer, but closer.  :)
    Congrats on the new job!

Rian – That’s awesome. (Where, in general terms, are you?)

I definitely expect to be spending a fair amount of time taking advantage of how New England makes travelling in multiple states before breakfast much easier, and I’ve got friends down into Maryland I would like to make plans to see now that it’s a train trip (or day’s drive) rather than much more complicated.

(And I know there’s a bunch of great Pagan community stuff going on that will be somewhat easier for me to get to now.)

Congratulations on your new job and welcome to Maine!  Since you live in Minnesota I won’t have to warn you about the long winters.
